Chipped or cracked windshield? We’re here to help make the process easy!
-First and foremost-
NONE of this is possible without our excellent partner Dave Henry, the man behind BigBoyz Autoglass, has been setting glass for over TWO DECADES. That is a LOT of windshields that he has put hands on. That is experience that goes unmatched by your “big-box” shops with the rotating door of installers. I have personally been working with him for over 5 years now, and his level of commitment to clientele satisfaction has earned him a special page here in my blog!
Although cash is always an option for payment, If you have comprehensive insurance coverage in the state of Florida, and have encountered the unfortunate event of a broken windshield while driving, you may be eligible to have it replaced with ZERO deductible!
If you are unsure of your coverage, a quick call to your insurance provider will be able to confirm wether or not you would be eligible for replacement!
When scheduling the installation, instead of them directing you to their “preferred vendor”, you simply provide them BigBoyz’ information instead, and from there we will be able to book the appointment with us!
Need to re-calibrate?
We have highly trained and certified techs that work with us on site once the glass is installed to do all the system and lane recalibrations across most all makes and models! No need to go to a third party and sit for hours without a vehicle!
Upgrading the glass!
Are you familiar with our 70% ceramic film? If you have not tried it out, this is a GREAT time to have it installed! We offer discounted rates for the service when we are able to tint the glass BEFORE it gets put in, making this your ONE-STOP shop for a professional install!
FAQ
I will have the commonly asked questions here. If you have a question about the process, it will most likely be answered here!
Will my glass be OEM (original equipment manufacture)?
This will depend on insurance, but, most likely no. There’s only a few instances that I’ve seen insurance approve for OEM glass, and that usually is the glass with some sort of manufacturer specific stamping/marking, or “easter egg” on the glass. Such as some Jeeps, challengers, and Ford windshields. Another way they will approve OEM glass for you is if you agree to pay the difference in cost, which can be pretty substantial in comparison to aftermarket glass. Which leads me to my next question….
Is Aftermarket Glass GOOD glass?
Fun fact: MOST reputable aftermarket glass manufacturers make OEM glass for other vehicles. Meaning, that aftermarket “Fuyao” glass we might put in your Toyota, is the same manufacture that Honda, BMW, Ford and even Bently use on all of their brand new vehicles rolling off the factory lines!
When choosing your replacement, we make sure the glass is from a reputable brand, and is inspected thoroughly for any imperfections or blemishes before install!
Will you install anything darker than 70% on my windshield?
Absolutely not. Due to safety and legal reasons, we will only install 70% across the entire windshield. A 20% visor strips may be added in addition to the full windshields, but are not offered on their own.
But my doctor prescribed me dark tint on the windshield…
No. No they did not. They prescribed you the OK to have a clear film installed on your windshield, because they know that having a quality film on the glass prevents the harmful effects of the sun from entering through the glass. They are not out here prescribing “privacy” in ANY way for a front windshield.
