Comfort and protection you trust with your vehicle available for your home!

Large windows on your home can deliver some of the nicest views looking out, and bring in the best ambient lighting to an area, but unfortunately, some of those larger panes of glass does come with its drawbacks here in Florida.

One of the major drawbacks include letting TOO much light into your home. While natural light is a great feature to a home, here in Florida, too much light can become more of a headache than anything. Glare can easily become an issue inside AND outside. Some of the most common situations would be when looking out your windows on a sunny day, you get a lot of the high contrasted whites reflecting off surfaces such as the roofs of neighbor’s homes, PVC fences, your pool/the bay, car windshields, etc. that can become a nuisance for those with sensitive eyes, causing you to want to shut blinds and close the blackout curtains.

Another example of where too much light can be a huge hinderance is when it comes in and hits off your floor, or reflecting off the television when you’re truing to watch your favorite show, or coming through the window in your office behind the monitor blinding you while you’re trying to get work done. Not only is all this light making it difficult to see in your own home, but it also means your air conditioning unit is working harder to keep the areas cooler, which could possibly take a toll on your utility bill!

This is where window film comes in and proves to be most beneficial. installing XPEL’s VISION series film on your home or office windows and doors will not only cut back glare inside and out, but will also reduce radiating heat building up in the room from excessive UV and Infrared rays penetrating the glass. By cutting back this heat, there’s a good chance your thermostat will be more efficient at maintaining desirable temperatures, which, we all know what the benefits of an efficient cooling system are!

Privacy to keep wandering eyes out!

Along with heat reduction, the second biggest benefit you can get from installing tint on your windows is PRIVACY. Depending on your needs, there are films that range from completely transparent, not changing the appearance of the glass much at all, all the way to reflective, mirror-like finishes, giving you the best privacy you could ask for during the day while still retaining that beautiful view to the outside world!

Don’t want the traditional “tint” look but still want to make a pane of glass opaque, then a FROST film may be a great option! Frosted glass is a great decorative choice to change the appearance of glass, impede vision through the pane, and still allow a fair amount of light into the room. Great for bathrooms and front doors where you want to keep eyes out 24/7!

Protect your investment and everything inside.

As you know, long term exposure to the sun tends to cause extensive damage. From your floor to your furniture, to your expensive artwork hanging on the walls, direct sunlight can cause fading, discoloring, drying, and even erosion over the years. A high quality film with a high UV/IR rejection rate will prolong damages from occurring quickly. Protecting you and your investments for years to come.

Window film can also have aesthetically pleasant finishes! Enhancing the appearance of your home!

These are just a few examples of how window tint can be beneficial to you and your home. In upcoming update blog posts, I will break down our different films offered and how they can be used to get the most out of your investment!

I am also working on a proper “Residential” page that will include more information on our policies, processes, and frequently asked questions pertaining to residential films. Until that page is up and running, feel free to send me a message through our standard inquiry section or send a text directly!
